This group for family & friends of our loved ones in Townsville Correctional Centre which includes Men's , Men's Farm, Women's, Women's Farm, Women's Work Camp, Men's Work Camps as they are extensions of the same facility.
This supportive community is dedicated to friends and families of inmates at the Townsville Correctional Centre. Our mission is to provide a safe space for sharing experiences, seeking advice, and finding encouragement. We aim to address the challenges of incarceration, combat isolation, and foster resilience through peer support and education. Join us for discussions, resources, and information on navigating the correctional system. Together, we can uplift each other and create a positive impact in our lives. We bundle up clothing, toiletries, snacks and shoes (per availability) into packs for those who need a hand. We also supply household goods, food, clothing, and transport where possible to aid those who are trying to get their lives turned around.
We are limited to our current capacity but if you are in need please reach out to our Facebook page and we will get in touch and make whatever arrangements are possible.
We are also able to provide support writing resumes and letters to those who lack the facilities or literary ability.
